What is the difference between an APLAC Full member and a signatory to the APLAC MRA?
A Full member of APLAC is an operational accreditation body in the Asia-Pacific region. A signatory to the APLAC MRA is an operational accreditation body in the Asia-Pacific region that has been through a comprehensive peer evaluation process and has demonstrated to the APLAC MRA Council that is operates in compliance with ISO/IEC 17011, and that its accredited facilities comply with ISO/IEC 17025 (laboratories), ISO 15189 (medical laboratories), ISO/IEC 17020 (inspection bodies). To become a signatory to the APLAC MRA an organisation must first be a Full member of APLAC.
